What I Think About When I'm Not Thinking About Football or Art...

So the football season is well and truly over and life's other distractions can take over for a few short weeks. A moment to draw breath and look about us before the next season, with all it's excitement arrives! So, I was thinking about things other than football and here are some of highlights, in no particular order!

Posca pens - these are great art pens - they're my favourite art thing - I know I said not thinking about football or art, but that's not really possible.

Waterslides & roller coasters - they please my inner-child.

Joe Strummer's music - So glad he was here...

Lancaster's in Harrogate - their pasties are my current favourite food and I would eat them every day, if I could.

Haruki Murakami - the greatest living author and his new book (translated into English - no, I can't read Japanese - I wish I could) is out in a few short months.

Being in Bridlington with my family - can't beat a waffle on the beach and the coining in the arcades!

Blade Runner Films - both the original and the new one are amazing films.

Cooking a delicious meal for my family.

A walk at Yorkshire Sculpture Park - nature and art, what's not to love and the coffee isn't bad either.

Painting and drawing - always a great way to spend a few hours.

Travelling - I love a bit of adventure, with my family, its always great to come home, and I come back with so much inspiration for the paintings.
